Ethertronics Names Rick Johnson as Chief Financial Officer
Certified Management Accountant Brings More Than 15 Years’ Senior Financial Leadership Experience to Leading Global Antenna Provider
Ethertronics Inc., a leading provider of standard and customized embedded antenna solutions for wideband and multi-band wireless devices, today announced that it has appointed Rick Johnson as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), a role in which he will be responsible for all elements of accounting, finance and reporting.
An accomplished executive and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Johnson is an experienced entrepreneurial financial executive with more than 15 years' financial leadership experience within global public and start-up organizations ranging in size from $5 million to $27 billion in annual revenues. Johnson is a co-founder of Tarari, Inc., which was the first management-initiated spinout from Intel. Johnson most recently served as Tarari's Vice President and CFO and was part of an executive management team that led the sale of Tarari to LSI for $85 million.
Prior to Tarari, Johnson spent five years at Intel, Inc., most recently serving as Controller for the company's Network Equipment Division, a position in which he was responsible for managing approximately $130 million in revenue with 650 employees in six locations spanning the U.S., Canada and Denmark. While at Intel, Johnson also served as the Wireless Communication and Computing Group Business Analysis and Reporting Manager as well as a Strategic Financial Analyst for the company, supporting several of Intel's product development teams.
